t’s that time of year again, when the sun splits the sky, and our kids face into months and months of having no particular place to go.

To go with all those months and months of lockdown, which officially left them with no particular place to go for two years.

So, if you want to make sure that this summertime your living is easy, check out our extensive round-up of groovy summer camps hitting town over the coming months.

REAL MADRID FOUNDATION FOOTBALL ACADEMY
The Real Madrid Foundation Academy are back as SEK International up on Windgates Hill for a series of summer camps, running Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 1.30pm daily and starting June 22nd and 29th plus July 6th and 13th. Details here, signup here.

MODERN LEGACY FOOTBALL ACADEMY
Kicking pretty at Shoreline Leisure Charlesland, the Modern Legacy Summer Camps 2026 boasts a plethora of 5-day Summer Camps, the first two running from July 6th to 10th, with Junior Soccer Skills for 6 to 11 years at 10am to 2pm and the Teen Soccer Skills for 12 to 15 years from 11.30am to 2.30pm. Both are €89.99 for the full five days, the morning session available here, the afternoon here. From July 13th to 17th, 10am to 2pm daily, the Teen Soccer Skills camp for 12 to 15 years is here, and the Junior Soccer Skills camp for 6 to 11 years is here. On July 20th to 24th, the 5-day Junior Skills Camp runs from 10am to 2pm is here and the Teen Soccer Skills camp runs from 11.30am to 2.30pm daily here. ALWAYS ACTIVE SUMMER CAMPS
The Always Active Summer Camps up at Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath are running weekly from June 29th, for five full days (9am to 3pm) each day. Which should please both kids and their parents no end. You can find out more right here, or just go book your spot right over here.

DESIGNER MINDS
One of Wicklow’s most popular summer camps, Designer Minds are once again bringing plenty of STEAM to town in 2026. STEAM standing for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths. Which just about covers every thrill known to parent agus child. This year’s 5-day STEAM Summer Camps for Wicklow run at Bray’s Presentation College from July 13th, Arklow’s Carysfort NS from July 20th, the Presbyterian Hall in Greystones from June 29th and July 27th (9am for Juniors; 2pm for Seniors), Blessington Gaelscoil na Lochanna on July 27th, and Wicklow’s Methodist Hall on August 8th, for ages 6½yrs-12yrs, generally from 9am to 1pm. GREYSTONES SHARKS BASKETBALL SUMMER CAMPS
Running from June 29th to July 3rd, the Greystones Sharks have summer camps for both boys and girls who want to master their basketball skills. With guest coaches from the Superleague (a lesser-known Marvel franchise) alongside Morgan Lenehan and Joshua Wilson of Jersey Hoop School, spaces are limited to 30. You can jump on board here.

GREYSTONES RFC SUMMER CAMPS
With their own Kurt McQuilkin and Jason Emery at the helm, the Greystones Rugby Club have two offerings on the sunny camp front this year – the Summer Mini from July 13th to 15th (for kids 7 to 12) and the Summer Youth from July 20th to 22nd (for kids 13 to 18). GREYSTONES MUSIC ACADEMY BAND CAMPS
Running weekly through July and August, the Greystones Music Academy gang down at Shoreline Leisure will be bringing both the rock agus the roll to your kid’s summer, as they take on all genres, all instruments and all skill levels. And you can choose between the 10am to 1pm or the 2pm to 5pm sessions, Monday to Friday, details here.

LILLYCAT STUDIOS STEM & ART SUMMER CAMPS
Happening throughout July and August at the swanky new Greystones Community College, LillyCat Studios have their STEM & Art Summer Camps, bringing your kid’s wild imagination to life with robotics, dayglo painting and general art-meets-science magic. Running from 9am to 2pm daily, the week-long camps start on July 13th, 20th and 27th, plus August 10th and 17th, and cost €140 per week, with €125 for siblings. Details here.

GREYSTONES UNITED AFC
Running on July 13th, July 26th and August 17th, the Greystones United AFC’s 5-day summer camps tend to sell out pretty dang quick. Aimed at kids 5 to 12, it’s 10am to 2pm daily, the full five days costing €65. You can register here.

THE MUSIC SCHOOL EDEN GATE
Running from July 6th to the 10th, The Music School in Eden Gate have a summer offering that’s a little bit different, their Songwriting Camp aimed at budding McCartneys and Kings aged 8 to 12. And by the end of the 5 days, you will have created and recorded an original song and music video. It’s 10am to 2pm daily, costing €125 for the full five days. There’s also their much-loved music and art summer camps on the weeks of July 13th, 20th and 27th, with daily art activities, introduction to instruments, lots of singing and dancing – and plenty of fun! Designed for kids 4 to 10 years, with small group sizes, the camps run daily from 9.30am to 2pm, fee €125 per child, details here.

ALIVE OUTSIDE ADVENTURE PARK
Connecting kids to the very great outdoors on the rather expansive 800-acre Killruddery estate, Alive Outside’s summer camps have everything that your wild child could ever desire, from the Splashzone to mountain adventure, from archery to obstacle challenges and orienteering. From the people who bring you Hell & Back. So you know it’s going to be good. Their 5-day camps run for 9 weeks from June 29th. Details here, booking here.

THE GOODE SCHOOL SUMMER STARS
One of the country’s most acclaimed ballet schools, the Greystones-based Goode School Of Dance have their Summer Stars happening throughout July and August, the younger student camps also including arts and crafts agus games whilst the older students will also indulge in Pilates, fitness training and a choreography competition. Hitting Glenageary from July 13th to 17th and August 17th to 21st, the gang will be at Greystones Educate Together from August 10th to 14th, 9am to 2pm, for junior infants to Grade 3, details here.

SQUIRREL’S SCRAMBLE
Running from 8.30am to 4.15pm for 5 days each week, the ever-popular Squirrel’s Scramble Summer Camp dates are June 15th to 19th, June 22nd to 26th, June 29th to July 3rd, July 6th to 10th, July 13th to 17th, July 20th to 24th, July 27th to 31st, August 3rd to 7th and August 10th to 14th. Other summer camps usually happening in Greystones include The Cool Food School, Sporting Greystones, The Art Studio, Junior Musicals Theatre School, Croí Arts & Craft plus Kids Club Ireland.
