Is There A Kid Doctor In The House…?October 15, 2019
Happening on Saturday, October 12th, from 9.30am to 3pm, over at Newtown Community Centre, the Kilcoole Community First Responders are hosting a demo and training day.
Providing a vital service to the town, and beyond, anyone who feels they could one day save a life is welcome to come along.
Here’s the lowdown…
Pop by, say hello, and learn the life-saving basics of CPR and how to use an AED.
You don’t need to bring anything apart from yourselves, and any family and friends who want to know what to do should an emergency situation like this ever arise.
The more people who know what to do, the more chance a person has of surviving. It will more than likely always be a family member, friend or neighbour who is with the person first.
So, please come along and learn these vital skills, even if you only have 30mins to spare. Who knows when you might need these skills…
You can find out more about the Kilcoole Community First Responders on their Facebook page here, or get in touch directly by calling Willie O’Connor on 0872643446.
