The evening event invites people of all ages and abilities to experience a diverse mix of free coastal sports, interactive family entertainment, and a dedicated seaside wellness space.
Up on the upper walkway, a vibrant festival hub will feature popular family favourites including free face painting, sensory toys, try-out rowing machines, and giant outdoor garden games like Jenga and snakes and ladders.
While many festival activities are open for drop-in on the day, specific sessions—including introductory sea swimming with Swim Ireland and beach volleyball with Volleyball Ireland—require pre-booking due to limited capacity.

As a local community hub that blends health, fitness, nature and connection, they will host a range of free outdoor activities, including beach yoga, breathwork, sound bath and more, designed to help visitors unwind, feel revitalised and connect with Greystones’ vibrant wellness community. Visitors can also meet local wellness brands offering complimentary mini experiences and giveaways.
Commenting on the festival, Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council, Cllr. Dr. Caroline Winstanley, said, “It’s great to see the Greystones Beach Festival return this year. The festival is a popular part of the summer calendar and it’s always encouraging to see so many people coming together to enjoy the beach and the local community.”
