his morning brings the sad news that Louise Byrne has passed.
Having battled with illness over the past few years, Louise slipped away during the night.
Having tragically lost both her son, Phéilam, and father, Shay Monahan, in 2019, Louise will be sadly missed by her husband Anto, sons Shaun, Anto Jnr and Liam Óg and daughters Colleen and Bláthnaid, her brothers Alan and Keith, and sister Margaret. Also grandmothers Joan and Margaret plus all her grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Byrne and Monahan families. Condolences in the comments section below.
Louise’s funeral cortége will leave the family’s Crowe Abbey home on Friday 8th at 12.20pm, travelling via Rathdown Road, the Harbour and Marine Road to the Holy Rosary Church.
The private family funeral mass will be at at 1pm at the Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, followed by internment at Redford Cemetery. May she rest in peace…
