Marina Pier Reopens For Weekends

It’s been a while since Greystonians have had access to the north pier down Marina Village way, and this weekend, finally, the gates are about to be reopened.

But just for the weekend, kids – so, make the most of it.

With the Marina Village apartments now on the market, those lovely developers at Glenveagh have had to spruce up the place – and that means making the pier fit for purpose once again.

The lovely Helen Byrne from Glenveagh informs us that The Harris Gate – we’re assured that has nothing to do with the nearby TD resident down there – will be open from ‘about 6pm on Friday’ and will be closed again at 4pm on Sunday. Meanwhile, plenty of folk have just been ignoring the barriers.

So, rejoice, Greystonians! Just, you know, leave your kamikaze kids and stinky trawlers at home.
