s anyone sporting a dryrobe around here will tell you, half of the battle when it comes to being fit and healthy is looking fit and healthy.

So, even if you haven’t actually been for a swim that day, strutting around Rise At The Cove in your glorified bathrobe will have you positively glowing with stolen velour.

For those who want to think beyond the morning splash though, good news, as Outwest Clothing have finally set up shop in Mrs Mooney’s old shop.

Announced in December, and officially opening its doors tomorrow, Outwest Clothing is the brainchild of happy married couple Shane Finn and Rebecca Hoban. Who also happened to have their other little 8-month old brainchild with them today as we take an early peek inside.

Born out of many a Covid hike in their native Dingle, Outwest Clothing’s battle-cry is simple – ‘to create and design outdoor clothing made for the Irish weather‘.

Given that we all live in a blinky washing machine that goes from rinse to spin to dry from minute to minute without any warning or sense, that’s quite the challenge to take on.

Just how Shane and Rebecca did it, and took it from The Healy Pass to The Pig’s Hollow, we decided to find out…
