Pull my finger… SUN14JUNE26
t wasn’t just any old garden fête at Our Lady Queen Of Peace this
afternoon…
It just so happened that this towering Bray church was marking its 80th birthday on this sweetly sunny Sunday afternoon.
And it meant that everyone who was anyone with a good heart was there, from the ICA Bray ladies to the Dickers lad, vintage cars and cake stalls, and from craft markets and food trucks to children’s games and – Yay! – the obligatory ice cream van.
Oh, and Audrey and her zumba brigade too. The day having a y in it.
All were there to give thanks and praise. And grab some birthday cake.
Some might have just turned up for the groovy raffle, of course, with hampers and a €100 gift card up for nabs.
And in the thick of the celebrations was, of course, our no.1 roving snapper, John McGowan.
You can check out his full gallery of 158 hi-res pics from the day right here, free to download.
