The rich culture and identity of Co. Wicklow will be explored on RTÉ Radio 1’s The County Measure.

Join writer and broadcaster Vincent Woods as he wanders through Wicklow on Easter Monday. The County Measure uncovers the vibrant arts, sports, history, heritage and diverse communities of Co. Wicklow.

From Bray’s Florence Road juggling live gigs and exams; the vital community link of Wicklow’s Mobile Library Service; to biodiversity with ReWild Wicklow – Vincent takes a measure of all that the ‘Garden county’ has to offer.

Co. Wicklow has always been a hub for creativity. The programme will feature music from Florence Road and a new and exclusive work from writer Olivia Fitzsimons.

The County Measure is a landmark RTÉ Radio 1 series that explores the identity and communities of Ireland’s 32 counties.

The County Measure Wicklow will be broadcast on Easter Monday April 10th at 11am on RTÉ Radio 1.

The series previously visited several counties including Clare, Down, Kildare and Sligo.
