Some Fecker’s Selling Kilcoole Sand

It is, of course, a fine beach, and one that is popular for miles agus miles around as a bracing walk, for man, woman, child and dodgy dog.

But is Kilcoole Beach so beloved – and so missed – that schmucks would pay a fiver to have just a teaspoon of its sand?

Well, that’s what one wide-eyed punter is hoping, offering 30g bags of the stuff over on ebay.

Listed as a ‘brand new, unused, unopened and undamaged‘ item (have they checked for dog poo?), bizarrely, someone has already bought one.

The good news is though, for you ex-Pats and ex-Marys abroad wanting to feel something very familiar between your toes – or wherever else tickles your nostalgic fancy – there are still two bags unsold.

You can grab yourself a bag of Kilcoole sand right here. And, if you ask nicely, they might even sell you a bag of Kilcoole air as well.
