The local author might have five books available on Amazon right now, but he’s not giving away too much to the Greystones Guide. We’d heard from an old school classmate that his full name was Joan Jett Toner, but, then again, our source did have a cold. Maybe he said that during his schoolyears JJ was known as Tone Deaf Toner…?
Finally, with a little prodding – mainly with a taser and a pointy stick – GG got JJ to fess up a little CV. TKO.
Turns out JJ was born “under a gooseberry patch” in Dun Laoghaire before his family emigrated to Greystones in 1975.
And, er, and that’s about all JJ would tell us. Other than his having those five thrillers published on Amazon Kindle, with three of the titles available on other ebook formats. The two bestsellers, The Black Orchestra and The Wings Of The Eagle, are available in paperback from all damn good book stores. Such as, of course, The Village Bookstore in Greystones.

In the meantime, the secretive JJ does offer up some thoughts on his adopted home above. Which he clearly loves. Despite the fact that he wants to knock a huge part of it down.
