As anyone who’s ever dined in The Three Q’s will tell you, those Quinn brothers certainly know how to put on a good spread. Something they no doubt learnt from their mama.
For many, the face of this much-loved main street restaurant is Paul Quinn – mainly because the other two brothers are ferociously unattractive. And incapable of stringing more than three words together in a coherent sentence.
And so our boy was an obvious choice when it came to picking a representative of this famous Greystones family, and Paul, being the happy-go-incredibly-lucky guy that he is (have you seen his wife? yowsa!), happily agreed to step up to the plate. If you’ll excuse the incredibly witty and inventive pun.
Brave enough to hint that New Zealand might actually be a better part of the world to live in – the very idea! Taffin beats Lord Of The Rings, easy! – than sunny Greystones, Paul keeps it short and sweet as he reminisces about his childhood dream home, the North Beach Triangle, the joy of not working and how he hopes his beloved cobblestones stay right where they are. Don’t we all.
