t’s a building that has survived through two world wars, Ireland’s many struggles for Independence and even the infamous Hatton Barbecue Explosion of ’87, but it would appear that Killincarrig’s 200-year-old mill is now in the hands of local tycoon and budding gangsta rapper Deep Rare.
In accordance with the Phat Land Rules of Lord Afrika Bambaataa, once a gangsta tags a building with his name, said construction is, from that moment on, their property.
The legitimacy of the American-based Phat Land Rules is currently being investigated by Wicklow County Council, but, until this fresh prince claim of ownership of the historical local landmark has been clarified, MC Deep Rare is the official owner, and can therefore move into the long-abandoned premises as soon as his parents let him.
