Having already brought her particular brand of joyful art to The Mini-Theatre, the Walk of Fame and the Greystones Studio’s Door of Deception, Theatre Lane’s artist in residence Irina Kuksova this afternoon put the finishing touches to her latest town mural.
Having been handed a rickety old postman’s bike by Ross McParland at Theatre Lane to create something new, Irina has now added another splash of colour to Greystones.
The fact that her latest creation is situated right by Theatre Lane’s bike rack – and just behind the free-to-play football table – means this grand old bike has been given the perfect retirement home.
Both of us feeling more than a little groggy from a little too much fun on Friday night, the conversation may have wobbled a little here, but, hey, we’re just showing some soidarity with this old bike…Â
We’ll have exciting news of Greystones’ largest ever mural undertaking soon. So, watch this HUGE space. Oh, and we’ve decided to keep that second Irina bike under wraps until it’s ready too..Â
