ith Met Éireann’s yellow warnings coming fast and thick over the past
few weeks, it’s not all that shocking to see yet another two pop up on our radar early this morning.
There’s a yellow advisory warning for high temperatures from 12am Wednesday 8th to 12am on Friday 17th, which Met Éireann describes as a prolonged spell of very warm and hot weather.
The potential impacts are water safety issues due to increased use of lakes and beaches, uncomfortable sleeping conditions and heat stress.
30 degrees, in places. The UV Index is expected to be very high. Warm and humid nights will occur with minima of 15 degrees or higher. There is the chance of thunderstorms developing on Wednesday and Thursday.’
