Café Grey Changing Hands

Bada-BOOM!

t’s pretty much GG’s favourite Greystones café, and a favourite of our once and future King too.

And mercifully, when it changed hands from Caroline and Alan to Geraldine and Cian – via the mighty Dorothy – back in 2019, it was a definite case of business – and cosiness – as usual.

Still, when the latter duo got in touch this afternoon to say they’re hanging up their Café Grey aprons on Wednesday 27th (the same day as AnniePooh), it was sad news indeed.

But once again, the treat goes on, as their farewell note reveals…

We have decided that the time is right for us to move on and concentrate on other interests.

We are delighted to confirm however that the café as you know it will continue and we wish the new owners all the very best in their new venture.

We have enjoyed every minute of our time at Café Grey which is entirely due to our amazing customers and staff and we will miss seeing you all on a daily basis.

May we take this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty and custom over the last few years and wish you all the very best. 

We hope you all continue to enjoy everything Café Grey has to offer and has come to mean to you.
