e live in a time, and in a town, where our little snowflakes are susceptible to all kinds of dangers.

A sudden gust of wind, a lukewarm hot chocolate, someone using the very swing at the South Beach Playground that you want to play on.

Well, to help our little conscientious objectors soldier on through Halloween, new guidelines for just what goodies households should have ready to hand out for Trick Or Treat has just been issued by the Greystones Municipal District Office.

You will need to cater for the following:

Children with nougat allergies.
Children with nut allergies.
Vegans.
Children who are lactose intolerant.
Children who are gluten intolerant.
Children who only eat organic.
Children who only eat non-denominational.
That one kid who’s toffee-phobic.

Naturally, being Greystones, there will be other allergies, phobias and demands, but, according to a Greystones Municipal District Office spokesperson, abiding by the above list should ensure a largely peaceful Halloween night.

Finally, as with all kids, young Greystonians don’t actually like apples, oranges and all the rest, but, if you insist on forcing some fruit upon our little ones, please make sure that it’s free range.
