It was a big day for Niamh Fortune on Friday, as she not only handed over her Hell & Back cheque to Greystones Cancer Support but she also endured her very last day of chemo.

That’s two very good reasons to celebrate this crazy little thing called life.

Young Kathleen Kelleher fills us in on the details of Friday’s ceremony…

Niamh is an amazing young woman who did not let a cancer diagnosis keep her down. She was determined to keep going, began physical training and registered for To Hell and Back. Niamh, her supporters and Nikafit Studios Kilcoole all worked together for this wonderful event.

GCS says thank you to all who donated to Niamh’s cause.

Sonia Walsh, Chairman of Greystones Cancer Support says, “We are all so very proud of Niamh and her supporters. Well done to Nikafit Studios for training Niamh for this major event. As it turns out, cheque handover took place one year to the day of Niamh’s last chemo session. What better way to celebrate!
