or some, it’s that Big Night Out that marks the start of Christmas, of sparkling nights, bright lights and buckets of bubbly.
For others, it’s, eh, a chance to catch up on their reading.
Yep, there were all-sorts out for Ladies Night this year, with the good, the naughty and Brendan Lynch living and laughing it up as, mercifully, that incessant rain took a well-earned break.
From the Fiona Roche Pharmacy up in Blacklion to Zero One down de town, Greystones – and many of those out for the night – was well and truly lit.
The place was so rockin’, our intrepid photographer John McGowan found he couldn’t quite fit or focus for the amount of bodies and boozing in some shops. Nonetheless, the town’s #1 snapper managed almost 300 shots of all the beautiful people having fun.
Being the nice guy that he is, he threw in some ugly ones too. You can check out young McGowan’s full gallery of delirious and delicious ghouls and girls here.
Fair fecks to the organisers, Sandra, Eimear and Sorcha, and all the shops that took part. Even that fancy-pants one in Meridian Point who didn’t throw any money into the hat.
That certainly raised a few eyebrows around here.
Now, let the Greystones love – and the free bubby – flow…
You can check out – and download for free – the full 287 John McGowan shots from the night in hi-res right here. You can also check out last year’s shindig here, and the year before here.
