Just Give Me The Night

t was a night where everyone just seemed to be in a good mood…

Maybe it was the lights, or the cold, crisp air, or the shops all done up to the nines…

Then again, it might have been the bargains or all that free bubbly.

Whatever it was, there was no denying that this year’s Ladies Night just hit the spot.

And good ol’ GG once again decided we should try and hit just about every spot in the town for this big annual shindig, covering the town’s twin Christmas tree bookends at the harbour and at the train station.

We should have figured that, stopping off to say hello every now and then was going to use up more than a little storage on the oul’ recorder, so, our 30-minute trek got us from the harbour to, well, just short of the train station.

And once we uploaded our magnum opus, we discovered that the piped Christmas music in the shops meant the original soundtrack was blocked by copyright. So, we had to dub some airy-fairy ambient music over the whole thing.

So, if you haven’t had a walk through Greystones at Christmas for a while, strap on your virtual boots and grab yourself a real cup o’ tea, as we go from tree to tree. Below, the mighty John McGowan captures all de beautiful people…
