Tánaiste and Minister for Finance Simon Harris TD today visited the Greystones Family Resource Centre, the only FRC in County Wicklow, for a meeting with the centre’s board and coordinator.
Greystones FRC was established in 2002 and serves communities across Greystones, Delgany, Newtown, Kilcoole and Newcastle.
It delivers a wide range of services including low-cost counselling and play therapy, the Rainbows programme for bereaved children, LGBTQI+ youth support, NVR parenting training, outreach to families in IPAS centres and social housing, Traveller advocacy and food poverty support.
The centre received a core funding uplift of €19,448 in Budget 2026, bringing its annual core funding to €180,000. It is one of 136 Family Resource Centres in the national programme.
