It’s A Yin Agus Yang Thing

The twain meet… SUN6NOV22

t was a hard-fought contest, and one that pretty much encapsulated the two sides of the town.

With hundreds upon hundreds of fans out there, Rise At The Cove and Caffé Delle Stelle are joint winners of the Greystones’ Best Coffee 2022 award.

It was a case of opposites attracting big votes for these contrasting cafés, both offering great coffee for likeminded souls, yet worlds apart.

A Tiglin initiative helping people in recovery find a purpose and a wage packet, Rise At The Cove is on the sunny side of town, basking in that beautiful coastline and those spectacular sunrises, whilst Caffé Delle Stelle is on the dark side of the street.

Literally.

With such passionate, dedicated fans on both sides, this was, at heart, a battle of good vs evil. It was Sam vs Dave, Ray vs Dave, Steve vs Dave, Simon vs Garfunkel, The Bitter Lemon vs the new Happy Pear.

Or, to put it bluntly, the dry robes vs the dry shites.

And the sweet thing is, each is as deserving a winner as the other, both Caffé Delle Stelle and Rise At The Cove doing exactly what it says on their coffee tins.
