Kelly Gets Her Face On Daytime Radio

Jaysus, she’s a raunchy, good-looking woman, and no mistake…

The stand of her! The come-tither-if-you-dare stare! De bleedin’ leather skirt!

Yep, local doc Ciara Kelly is a becoming something of a major national star – so much so, it would appear that the good people of Ireland need her more than us little ol’ Greystonians.

Taking over the new daytime slot on Newstalk radio – nasty ol’ Hooky monster having been blasted into off-peak, if not oblivion – Kelly has just announced that she will no longer be able to commit to her work at the Carrig Clinic on Bellevue Road.

Its with a lot of sadness that I am leaving my patients and colleagues in Carrig Clinic after nearly 14 years of working there.

It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work here in Greystones with some of the best people I have ever met and I have always thought that I got as much back from my patients in terms of support and feeling uplifted as I ever gave – maybe more in fact.

I didn’t expect to be leaving at this time … Life takes some odd twists and turns but being offered the job of presenting Lunchtime live on Newstalk feels like something I would regret walking away from.
So after 14 years in Carrig Clinic and 20 years of working as a Doctor … I’m going to try something new.
This is my next chapter … it may be great it may be a disaster! But I’d rather try it and fail than never try it at all.

Having recently incorporated a company called Rude Health Media Ltd, the Operation Transformation star and regular Sindo contributor clearly recognises a busy media life ahead. We wish her all the best. Even if she is turning her back on the sick and the lame of her hometown.
