A Kick Up The Arts #30: Holly PereiraMay 4, 2017
Being a mother – especially for the first time – can be a tough gig…
Thankfully, there’s been quite a few who have gone before, and learnt some tricks of the trade.
If you’re a new mum, and would like to know some of those tricks, La Leche League Bray/Greystones meet on the 2nd Friday of each month to discuss all things mothers and babies. With a pretty strong emphasis on breastfeeding.
The meetings take place from 10.30am to 1pm, at the Bray Music Centre, Florence Road, Bray.
A non-profit organisation founded in 1956, La Leche’s stated mission is ‘to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother’.
