We’re big fans of Dylan E. Crampton around these parts, the double-whammy of his first two singles this year proving that The Beatles are alive and well.

And living in Redford Park, with his stupidly talented family, each of which are musical and artistic forces to be reckoned with.

Except for the mum, Val. She’s not that great.

As with June’s Jimmy & Cecil and August’s Sugar, Dylan’s latest single, Irish Sea, takes something old, something new and something from the blues to deliver another three-minute 1960s pop gem.

Only this time, there’s a little diddley-aye in the mix too. Given that it’s all about that mystical, red-haired Irish girl by the sea who tends to haunt young men’s dreams.

Even if she is your sister.
