Music Lessons In The Key Of Fun

hen we last spoke to Elaine and Darryn Scott in August, it was clear that they’re tiny little cottage beside Rise At The Cove was bursting at the seams when it came to their daily music lessons.

Sure, the place is cute as a button, and you’re right beside some rather fine coffee and cakes, but some musicians just need a little room to swing.

Which is why the Scotts are both excited and delighted to have found a second home over in sunny Kilcoole, with rooms big enough for even Count Basie and his buddies to truly swing.

“As you can imagine, it can take a little time to find a good, big space around here,” says Elaine. “So, we’re delighted to be opening another wonderful studio in Kilcoole’s Beach Court.”

“We fell in love with the place the moment we walked through the door,” adds Darryn, “and because we’ve suddenly got all this space, we got a local interior designer in to create a calming, warm and inviting creative space. This is all about the music, after all, and the right instrument is as important as the right room.”
