With a name like Kruk, you could expect this week’s My Greystones star to be something of a smooth criminal.
Well, there’s no question that this guy is smooth – just ask the ladies – but, a criminal? Feck, no! Kruk Tulukaruk is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet around Greystones, a tall, lanky streak of happy who always seems to be fixing something for someone somewhere. Somehow.
Which only goes to show, what’s in a name? Especially a nickname. Kruk’s real first name is Pawel. As to his surname – for legal reasons, most likely – he never told us.

When he’s not being smooth with the ladies, that is.
Being such a tall, lanky streak of happy, Kruk naturally learnt some lethal martial arts along the way, becoming a Krav Maga practitioner down with Andrew and the boys. His status as a badminton champion will no doubt come in handy on this front – most attackers will retreat once you whack ’em hard in the shuttlecock.
We should also mention that Kruk is, unsurprisingly for a Happy Pear veteran, a health food nut. Plus, an epic dancer. And a sheep fondler.
Come to think of it, that must be where he got the name Kruk from.
