My Lunches With Elvis #17: La Crêperie Pierre Grise

n truth, The King has been a little shook up of late, that one good night’s sleep that puts the world to rights alluding him for a few weeks now.

Perhaps he’s still reeling from the nine pints and his stage invasion finale at The Hot Spot a few weeks back.

Or maybe it’s just this crazy little thing called life that has a nasty habit of suddenly pulling the rug out from each and every one of us. Either way, it was good to catch up with The Artist Formerly Known As Alan Adamson this afternoon.

And it was good to see his little face light up when yet another free meal was presented to The King.

We decided to try one of the town’s worst kept secrets and best little eateries, La Crêperie Pierre Grise being the 2015 creation of Greystones girl Alison and her French beau, Julien. When Elvis realised crêpes were basically skinny pancakes with fat fillings, he was sold. Especially when the sweet waitress mentioned bacon as one of those fillings.

So, lips smacked, coffee slurped and tummy patted, the big question, as always, is, did La Crêperie Pierre Grise deliver a lunch fit for The King…?
