t was just another boat trip around Bray Head, and thankfully, the sun was breaking on through.
And it gave off enough heat to attract, it seems, some bathing beauties, who were no doubt happy for a warm break away from the cold, dank shadows of The Cliff Walk.
And that’s when the light went Full National Geographic. And Ron Seal and his partner-in-downtime, Lu, felt a spotlight on their faces.
“We noticed the first seal on Cable Rock,” says Niall McKenna, who just happened to have his good camera with him. “And then the second seal, halfway along Bray Head, popped up as well.
“And they just proceeded to put on a show, basically. All they were missing was top hats and canes…”
Perhaps it was that perfect lighting, or the fact that the weather was so damn fine, but there’s certainly something close to magic happening in these shots.
Heck, even Bray looks good here.
