ody Connaughton had a knack for capturing landmarks around here in just the right light, and at
just the right angle.
As anyone who has ever purchased one of his many fine prints will tell you.
Or one of the lad’s fine books.
And now, in just the sort of gesture that Jody would no doubt have loved, his wife Melissa has donated a box of the late photographer’s 2017 book, Greystones Harbour, to Greystones Cancer Support.
And it’s a doozy, boasting 17 panoramic images of the harbour before it went electric.
So, you may want to get your banjo ready for this one.
To get your hands on one of these limited edition beauties, all you have to do is make a donation to Greystones Cancer Support.
No matter how big or small.
The easiest way to do this is to swing by the GCS HQ on La Touche Place, but if that’s not possible, you can always have it shipped to you. You can email Amanda right about here to get that sorted.
In the meantime, we caught up with both Amanda and Anne this morning to talk about this beautiful gift created by a beautiful, moderately attractive man…
You can find out more about Greystones Cancer Support here, agus here, follow on Instagram here or Facebook here, and donate right about here.
