The more you observe politics, the more you’ve got to admit that each party is worse than the other. Politics has become so expensive that it takes a lot of money even to be defeated. This country has gone mad when it’s people allow a government to continually put extra expenses on top of them and do nothing about it. When you vote for a candidate in a political party it’s the party that decides and not the candidate. He or she is just a pawn. Overspend and foolishness by Irish governments is now the norm unfortunately we will have to pay again for this. Be care full who you vote for.
I suggested to the citizens in a comment vbefore the local elections not to waste their time voting for the gombeen puppet political classes as they would as usual cost them money to feed the corrupt wasteful local government gravy train. I have been proven right the gombeen councillors had another option to lower the property tax by 10% but of course the cash trough had to be replenished for their greedy snouts, so pay up sheeple maybe some day you will cop on to the scams of the political classes.
All new houses that have been built since 2013 are not being charged any property tax. Also second hand homes bought during 2013 are not paying tax either. Surely, after all those years, these houses should be brought into the property tax system. This would easily make up any shortfall that has arisen for the council to provide the services they claim that they are unable to provide.
