t was a gathering for those who have lost loved ones to come together
and say goodbye once again…
Organised by Sharon Felton, what started out as a small gathering soon had the support of those keen to help make it special.
Greystones Tidy Towns were there with white crocus bulbs to
plant as memories, and the Greytones Family Resource Centre gang brought tea lights and paper bags to write your loved one’s name on.
There was also be tea, coffee and hot chocolate to help stave off the December cold, provided by those fine people at Café Gourmet, whilst SuperValu Charlesland supplied the sweets and mince pies.
There was music too, from local dynamo Dylan E. Crampton (and his harmonising mum, Val), plus the bould Francisco, whilst Frances Browner unleashed some poetry. The master of ceremonies, meanwhile, was the always-reliable Laura Wood.
