arking two years since they got the thumbs up for 14 rather fancy houses at Delgany’s Fairy Trail, developers CPF Struan Hill Vision Limited posed a simple question for Wicklow Planning in July.

Please, sir, can we have some more…?

Which is understandable, given that these houses are on the market for between €1.1m and €1.45m.

And the heart-swelling festive news is, yay, Struan Hill Vision Limited got their four extra houses. Huzzah!

With conditions though, including paying the sum of €60,796 towards public infrastructure and facilities benefiting the area, and no development commencing until the completion of open spaces, roads, footpaths and the rest.

The provision of 4 no. 2-storey, with 1 no. understorey, detached houses on lands adjoining the residential development granted under Pl. ref. 15/260 and subsequent amendments (Pl. Ref. 21/1128; Pl. Ref. 21/1565 and Pl. Ref. 21/1251).

As well as the extension of the existing internal road; the provision of car parking, private open space, site landscaping, connection to existing services and all additional site development works.

Which should add another €5m-plus to their haul. Noice.

On the other side of the Fairy Trail, more signs that a planning application might be on the way, with what appeared to be the entire ESB field operators out in force there last week.
