The Greystones 2020 gang are putting the call out for a local artist who may be up to the task of making our Christmas magic.
And given the ongoing restrictions, we’re going to need all the magic we can get.
Here’s the lowdown from Greystones 2020 ringleader Grainne McLoughlin…
Greystones 2020 would like to commission a painter with experience of painting on glass to paint 12 windows in Greystones with the theme The Twelve Days of Christmas. The max size is 2msq for each window (this could vary).
Each window is painted differently to the theme of the twelve days of Christmas.
The above is an idea – could be more elaborate. Just needs to be colourful and fun. The maximum budget is €1,500.00. Greystones 2020 is a voluntary group so, if you can do for less – that would be great. The windows must be completed by Friday 20th November. If you are interested, please submit a short resume of yourself with up to four images of previous work to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have any further queries, please call Grainne on 0868329686. Closing date is the 12th October.
