For some, such choices come with far more trouble than a mere pang of guilt the following morning. For Michelle Hunt, such choices took on considerable significance in her life when, from the age of 13, she began drastically losing weight.
Her long journey back to healthiness and happiness saw Michelle throw herself headfirst into a series of diets and fitness regimes over the past 12 years, each one, she realised in hindsight, merely a new addiction to replace the last.
