hristmas can be a mildly hectic time of year here at GG HQ, which means that some jobs just keep getting pushed down the line…

Jobs such as counting up the hundreds upon hundreds of votes for this year’s bonny baby competition.

Dubheasa!

Man, there was a lot of love – and eager relatives – out there when it came to this year’s line-up, and we reckon Dubheasa, Freddie & Theo, Naksh, Kai & Cooper, Riadh, Sophie and Molly should all consider running for office. Soon.

As we counted up those votes though, one clear winner emerged early on. And we should have guessed – when Riaan Goyal’s picture was added to our gallery, the votes came flooding in pretty much daily. The Riaan line was open.

We caught up with Greystones’ Most Beautiful Baby 2022 this morning, to make it official, with the mighty Fiona Roche there to present the award. Even if Riaan didn’t seem all that impressed.

Congrats to all the entries this year, and a big thanks to Rochey for sponsoring. Naturally, we’ve already gotten some entries for next year…
