‘An adventure around Ireland’, the cover boasts, as the father and daughter duo deliver a cartoon travelogue of all 32 counties.

And sure enough, there on Page 66, it’s Wicklow. Nice.

Beside the name, Dara O’Briain’s big, fat – and worryingly red – face. Over his left shoulder, there’s Katie Taylor, getting ready to batter forty shades of shit out of yet another unwitting opponent. Ooh, and over there, it’s fancy goods giant Avoca’s humble beginnings, and up a notch, everyone’s favourite rough & tumble fun park, Clara Lara. Aah, and would you look, just above that, it’s Ardmore Studios, home to many a hit TV series and dirty big Hollywood film.

But wait. Moving up the east coast of Ireland, from Avoca to Wicklow Town, to Clara Lara and on to Bray’s 58-year-old film studio, what’s this…? There’s a gap. A great, big, dirty hole of a gap.
