Wild Geese Fly High For Greystones Cancer Support

It was a grand day out at the Charlesland Golf Club for Greystones Cancer Support when a local golf gang held a fundraising round.

The sweetly-named Wild Geese Golf Society – apparently all their balls go south during the winter months – managed to raise €1,010 for the Greystones

charity.

Said Sonia Walsh, chairman of Greystones Cancer Support, “Thanks to the Wild Geese Golf Society, GCS can continue its efforts to offer the very best in community cancer care.

“GCS is a volunteer group and depends on local help. Thank you so much to the ladies for the amazing turnout on the day.”

According to reports, everyone played a wonderful round of golf on the day too. With one or two obvious exceptions.
