Women’s Barbershop Chorus Need You!

Have you got the voice of an angel, but just haven’t had the courage yet to unleash it…?

Well, hey, Bray’s barbershop chorus Serendipity would like to hear from you.

Having just picked up yet another medal at the Irish Association of Barbershop Singers national awards, the ladies are looking for new members.

Here’s de spiel…

Harmony singing is enjoying a revival at the moment, and it’s not difficult to see why. It is sung acapella in four parts and produces a beautifully full, warm harmonic sound, as delightful to sing as it is to hear!
Serendipity perform a wide range of songs, from show classics to jazz, pop, swing, ballads and modern. They appear regularly in Bray and throughout Dublin and North Wicklow, performing for a range of events, whether fundraising for charity, private parties, or corporate functions. They have performed in Castletown House, Trinity College, Farmleigh and in Kilruddery Market and Voices of Wicklow, and recently, they raised over €4,000 for charity at a sell-out concert at Bray’s Mermaid Theatre.

And right now, we’re looking for soprano singers. We practice on Wednesdays 8 to 10pm at Epworth Hall, Florence Road, Bray, and we are a very social group with a warm friendly atmosphere.

If you’d like to join Serendipity, contact Pauline on 0872143745 or serendipitybray@gmail.com. You can find out more on their Facebook page here.
