ust got word from Sharon Felton, a woman who has been one of Greystones’ busiest fundraisers and wellbeing activists in recent years.

On Friday, Sharon will be starting chemotherapy, and even this major challenge has been turned into a chance to help others.

Over to Sharon…

I have been diagnosed with breast cancer and starting chemotherapy this Friday. 

Treatment will more than likely make me lose my hair, which is hard to take in.

But I have decided to donate my hair. All money raised will go to the amazing LauraLynn Foundation.  Such an amazing charity.

I’m cutting off my long ponytail, which I have been growing for all these years. The haircut is this Thursday, with family and friends. My chemotherapy starts this Friday. 

All my family and friends and the local community have been amazing at supporting me.  Here . Is the link to my fundraising event. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the continued support. 

It will be a tough road but I’ll be back fitter and stronger, and doing what I do best, fundraising, in the near future.
