omehow, despite that famously stubborn Irish weather, the sun
always seems to shine on Africa Day.
Taking place, as always, down at Burnaby Park, there was music, and munchies, and maybe even a little magic.
Billed as a vibrant celebration of African culture, music, dance, and
community, well, that’s pretty much what the big day out delivered.
From DJ Spaqz delivering the beats, live band Sli na Croi delivering the funk agus soul, NoWahala Dance Crew the grooves, there was a carnival atmosphere throughout.
Aided and abetted by that beautiful weather. And, hey, food trucks!
