Hair today…

hen Aoibhe O’Toole’s granny Mary was taken away by cancer, the Kilcoole kid vowed to do something in her honour.

Which is how the 9-year-old ended up in the hot seat at Elite in Greystones today.

Deciding to cut her long, flowing hair as a fundraiser, Aoibhe is not only raising funds for Greystones Cancer Support but she’s also donating her hair to The Rapunzel Foundation.

Which is a pretty sweet thing to do.

With Greystones Cancer Support’s Eileen Horan joining Aoibhe’s family this afternoon, the gang cheered the big-hearted young girl on.

And wouldn’t you know, Aoibhe looks just as cool with short hair as she does with long flowing locks.
