unlikely to be done before Sunday morning, but, on the first count, one Greystones hopeful has already secured a seat.With 2,008 votes as of 7pm Saturday, the town’s Prince Of Potholes, Stephen Stokes, was first past the 1,626 threshold, comfortably holding onto his councillor badge and certificate.
So, with 11,487 people voting (plus 107 spoiled votes), – meaning 54.61% of the town got the pencil lead out – the race is now on for the other 5 Greystones seats.
