ollowing deliberate fires in Greystones and Kilcoole last August, the town’s young arsonists are at it again.

Over the past week, the Greystones Fire Brigade have had to attend fires being lit at the old Charlesland Golf Club.

It was here that a series of fires were lit last August, spreading dangerously close to neighbouring fields and buildings.

Greystones Garda have now issued a plea to parents…

‘Please speak to your children regarding the dangers of setting hay and gorse on fire as this will result in loss of limb or life, or property, going forward, when the good weather finally arrives.

‘Please assume your child is there and speak to them about the dangers!’
