Another Feckin’ Win For Temple Carrig

very excited John McGuinness from Temple Carrig School has been in touch, about another mighty win for the school today.

After conquering the worlds of rugby and cross-country running earlier this week, the Blacklion school has now added a major football win to its glorious week.

This afternoon, the Temple Carrig Senior Boys football team bagged a place in the Wicklow-Wexford final after beating Carnew 3-2. 

It was, says John, “a tough physical game“, with the winning goals being scored by Jack O’Sullivan, Paul Krummel and Dan Healy.

It was the mighty Healy (cheered on by his distinctly dickish mates) who scored the winning goal. And the crown they’re going for is the FAI Senior Wicklow-Wexford League title.

Nay bother to ’em. Big shout-out to the team – Sean O Neill, Tiarnan Holmes, Fionn Brauner, Charlie Stewart, James Connolly, Jack O Sullivan, Daniel Healy, Harry O Toole, Paul Krummel, Conor Fulham and James Clark, along with those crucial subs, Robbie O Toole, Joe Prendergast, Cian McManus, Matt Hudson, Luke Dorgan and Matt Hudson.

The lads will be facing Gaelcholáiste na Mara in the final next week, and we wish them all the best.

Given that so many of their fellow Temple Carrig students are winning left, right and centre, hey, no pressure, lads.
