t’s a long-held tradition in the town, and one that gives great comfort to a great many people as they pay their respects to loved ones gone by.
The annual Blessing Of The Graves at Redford Cemetery offers Greystonians a chance to say goodbye once again, and pray for the souls of the dearly departed.
There is also a collection to help with the upkeep and maintenance of the cemetery, taking place at the gates, as well as at the gates of the Holy Rosary Church and St Killian’s Church.
This year’s annual gathering is taking place on Sunday, November 2nd, at 3pm at both Redford Cemetery and Kilmurray.
If you’re feeling generous, throw in a few prayers for the living too…
