Marking James Joyce’s acclaimed if not-always-fully-read 1922 masterpiece, Bloomsday is celebrated all over the world.
And sure, why shouldn’t the bould Greystones be any different? Especially given that our boy James would have visited our cute little seaside town for a break from the big city, staying at our once aptly-named Grand Hotel.
Having been quiet for the last year or so, here’s hoping we’ll get to see a few more Bloomsday celebrations in Greystones over the coming years.
We’ve certainly got enough eejits in the town who are experts when it comes to streams of semi-consciousness. GG included, of course...
