Candlelight Walk At Avondale

Walk this way…

t’s a beautiful idea, in a beautiful setting, and each year, Avondale comes alive just for one night with their candlelight walk.

Happening on Sunday, November 9th from 5.30pm, there will be hot chocolate, there will be s’mores, music, hip flasks full of whiskey and, of course, tea agus coffee.

The money raised will go to the neighbouring Ballinacor Community Project, which has already developed a full-size GAA pitch, tennis court and basketball court alongside its hall.

There’s also a fully wheelchair-accessible, scenic boardwalk around the perimeter, covering approximately half a mile. Dogs are also welcome. You can find out more here.
