Churchlands’ Candlelight Vigil For Lauren

hen it comes to the passing of a child, there are no words…

No way of truly understanding the pain for the family involved, and no way of knowing how to help ease that pain.

With the funeral of 2-year-old Lauren Boland due to take place tomorrow, Tuesday 24th, at 11.30am, neighbours in Churchlands tonight held a candlelight vigil.

Around every corner, down each cul de sac, the darkness was lit by row upon row of tealights and candles, as each resident sent out a message of love and support to parents Lisa and Matt, and Lauren’s big brother, Jack, as well as the extended Boland family.

Describing their daughter, Lisa and Matt said that they and everyone who knew Lauren ‘will always remember our beautiful little ray of sunshine who lit up every room with her infectious smile and laugh, her love of fun and people, and who danced her way through life’.
