aving just won the Boutique Agent Of The Year at the Worldchoice 2025 Awards, the gang down at Phoenix Travel are, naturally enough, flying high.

Part of Greystones for at least 25 years – anyone out there know the actual start-up date? – the town’s one agus only travel agent has not only survived but thrived over those years.

And a big part of its current healthy state is down to stupidly-handsome couple Lee and Rebecca, who took over Phoenix Travel in 2017.

Despite being slightly busy with having just welcomed their third child into the world.

“It was just something that both of us knew we’d love to do,” says Rebecca when we caught up with her today. “Who doesn’t love travel? Especially when it’s done without hassle or worry.

“So, from day one, that’s what we aimed for. And having people like Kathy, Heather and Sarah on the team makes all of that easy, for us and for everyone who walks through our door.”

Way back then…

Having recently undergone a fancy pants renovation, Phoenix Travel is now busier than ever, offering up everything from World Cup weekends to wellness retreats, from solo breaks to family cruises.

Because Greystonians have come a long, long way from our bucket and spade days. And bringing back stuffed donkeys, sombreros and sunburn from Benidorm.

Just how far Phoenix Travel have, well, travelled, we decided to find out by swinging by on this sunny Wednesday afternoon…
