he funny thing was, despite a lifetime spent stepping under the lights, Phelim Drew was nervous about his hometown debut back in September.

He needn’t have worried, of course…

In front of a sell-out crowd, Drew’s one-man adaptation of George Orwell’s Down And Out In Paris And London stormed The Whale. Just as it had done in theatres all over the country for the last three years.

Unsurprisingly, given that glorious homecoming, it was decided that Phelim Drew should bring his award-winning show back to Greystones, for those who weren’t quite quick enough off the mark first time round.
